Union Bank of India released a recruitment notification for Specialist Officers vacancies. Online Registration starts on 3rd February 2024. Union Bank Specialist Officers Recruitment 2024
Summary of Eligibility Requirements:
Chief Manager: Age 30 to 45 years. Education: Bachelor or master’s in Computer Science/IT/Electronics. Here, you need a minimum of 10 years of experience.
Senior Manager: Age 28 to 38; Bachelor or master’s in Computer Science/IT/Electronics. A senior manager needs a minimum of 7 years of experience.
Senior Manager (Risk): Age 25 to 35; Graduate in any discipline and certificate in Financial risk management or Masters; Minimum 5 years required.
Manager(Risk): Age 25 to 32; Graduate or MBA or Masters; Minimum 2 years of qualification experience required.
Manager(Law): Age 26 to 32; Bachelor’s or PG degree in Law. Minimum 4 years experience required.
Assistant Manager: Age 20 to 30; Engineering Degree and no work experience required for any assistant manager posts.
All age criteria will be calculated as of 1st February 2024. There is a relaxation in the upper age limit for SC / ST / OBC applicants. At the same time, education and experience requirements will be calculated as of the last day of application submission. For detailed education and experience requirements, candidates are advised to go through the official notification.

Exam Date: If conducted, the exam is expected to be held in March/April 2024.
Union Bank SO Selection Process
So, once you submit your online application form, a major part of the Selection process starts. This process consists of an Online exam/group discussion(if conducted)/Screening and Personal Interviews. Personal interviews are only conducted when the number of eligible candidates is high.
Exam Pattern: For postcodes 1 to 16, The written exam (if conducted) will be all about professional knowledge, and it will have 100 questions. Whereas for other postcodes, this exam will have 4 sections: Quantitative aptitude, Reasoning, Professional knowledge and English language. Most important, there will be negative markings for each wrong answer.
