Qualification
Age Limit: 53 years Max as of July 1, 2024 (58 years for SC/ST/Backward Class Muslims)
Educational Requirements: Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma/Graduation/B.El.Ed And Passed in the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) Paper – I.
Application Fee: There is an application fee of Rs 600 for General candidates and Rs 300 for SC/ST/SCA/candidates with disability.
Exam Pattern: The exam will be in two parts: Part A – The Tamil Language Eligibility Test, which will have 30 questions, and you must score 40 % marks. Part B – The second Exam will be on the Main Subject (Tamil / Telugu / Malayalam / Kannada / Urdu, English, Mathematics, Science & Social science). There will be a total of 150 MCQs, and you will have 3 hours to answer these.
