UPUMS Nursing Officer Recruitment 2024 – Registration started

UPUMS invites applications for Nursing Officer posts with 535 vacancies. UPUMS Nursing Officer Recruitment registration opened on 23 Feb, and the last date to apply is March 4, 2024. Interested candidates can apply online, but before that, check the eligibility criteria, age limit, number of vacancies, selection process, application process, etc.

Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences (UPUMS) offers several UG courses in Medicine, Paramedical Sciences, Nursing, and Pharmacy; the University also offers MD/MS/MDS and M.Ch in various specializations and superspecialization courses in Medicine.

UPUMS Nursing Officer Recruitment 2024

Essential Qualification: (State/Indian Nursing Council approved)
1. B.Sc. HonsNursing/Nursing OR B.Sc. (Post-Certificate)/Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
2. Registered as a Nurse & Midwife with the State/Indian Nursing Council.
OR
1. Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery
2. Registered as a Nurse & Midwife.
3. Two Years’ Experience in a minimum 50-bed Hospital

UPUMS Nursing Officer Recruitment 2024

Age Limit: 18 to 40 Years (as of 1st Jan 2024); there is an upper age limit relaxation as per government norms.

Number of Vacancies: 535 (500 New + 35 Backlog); UR 200, EWS 50, OBC 165, SC 109, ST 11.

Application Fee:

  • Unreserved (UR): Rs. 2360
  • OBC/EWS: Rs. 2360
  • SC/ST: Rs. 1416

How to Apply for UPUMS Nursing Officer?

Aspiring applicants satisfying the eligibility criteria can apply online. The application filling process will be conducted from 23.02.2024 to 14.03.2024. Based on the information you submit in the application form, you will be called for a Computer Based Test (CBT).

  • The first step is Candidate Registration. This can be done at the official website of www.upums.ac.in
  • Fill out the required details of the form.
  • Upload the scanned photo, signature, and other required documents.
  • Payment of Fees.
  • Printout of the filled Application form.

CBT Exam Pattern: 

  • The duration of the Test shall be 180 minutes.
  • There will be 200 MCQs of 600 marks(no negative marking). Among 200, There will be 170 MCQs related to nursing subjects and 30 MCQs related to General English, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Reasoning & Mathematics).
  • Minimum qualifying marks of the Computer Based Test (CBT): 40% for General, EWS, OBC and 35% for SC & ST.

After the application process, The candidates can get their Admit Card from the UPUMS website just a few days before the Computer Based Test.
